Arup was born on November 17, 1990 at JNM Hospital in Kalyani, Dist. Nadia, West Bengal, perhaps a little after noon. During the first four months he was in his maternal grandpa's house in Madanpur, Nadia in the loving care of the grandma and mom. After that he came to his father's house at Kalyani, which was a rather large middle class joint family at that time. Both his parents had ancestors in East Bengal, now called Bangladesh, but they settled in this locality long back.
